These rules come into effect immediately after the 2012 regular draft.

Approved rule changes.

1) More IR Spots – maximum of 3 (site allows 3 IR spots).

2) 5 rounds of Entry Drafting.

3) 8 Forward Keepers.

4) Farm team freeze for first two weeks – no two way players (who played at least 10 games in the NHL the year prior) may be brought up to the main roster in the first two weeks of the season. Any two way players that you want on your team opening day must be drafted in the late rounds of the regular (computer) draft.
