In two separate deals Optimus-Reim made a strong attempt to shore up their near basement dwelling goal-tending by acquiring the injured Craig Anderson who was lights out posting league leading numbers in GAA (1.49) and SV%(.952) before his injury. COF recieved a future second round entry pick. OR then went after their name-sake by acquiring James Reimer, who just returned from the IR, and Joni Pitkanen. Going the other way to MM was Kimmo Timonen (2,12,10,0,38) who should help shore up the lack luster defensive scoring that MM has experienced. These trades mark the 16th and 17th moves for OR, leading the league in this department, as they continue to tinker attempting to push their team to the coveted Hoover.
